With the summer months just around the corner, Nike SB is set to drop a Dunk High that pays homage to the state of Hawaii. Contrary to the volcanic Nike SB Dunk Low “Hawaii” that originally dropped back in 2005, this newest lifestyle proposal deviates with a brighter and bolder presentation.
This Nike SB Dunk High features a multicolor Hawaiian print covering its entire upper with a hemp material used on the tongue and Swooshes. Fresh out of the box, the pair starts a vibrant green, with its floral patterns hued a brighter, contrasted pink. Woven Swooshes and tongues further accent in their darker creams, while the tongue label brightens in its use of orange. Elsewhere, the tooling leans towards the typical, with white midsoles dressing above a slightly yellowed finish. Moreover, the laces have been drenched in an off-white tone and the Nike SB tabs positioned on the tongues overtly stand out with their orange backdrops. Midsoles opt for a simple white outer and come unified with a cream-colored outsole. Bright Orange tongue tags atop a White midsole and Sail rubber outsole completes the design.
