Modified to meet the demands of skateboarders, Nike released the Nike Dunk SB (Skateboarding) in 2002. Unlike the original Nike Dunk, the SB model is equipped with Zoom Air insoles, which provide superior cushioning and impact resistance.The shoe is finished with a white leather swoosh and a matching midsole.The grey area around the toe and the navy blue heel are both suede, the side panels and toe box are black textured leather, and the ankle is black canvas. The Dunk SB was also constructed with more durable materials to withstand the abuse that skateboarders inflict on their sneakers.
